W dniach 28-30 kwietnia 2015 roku w Direct Energy Centre w Toronto odbywały się Międzynarodowe Targi SIAL Canada, które są najważniejszym wydarzeniem branży rolno-spożywczej w tym kraju i skupiają co roku ponad 800 wystawców z kraju i zagranicy. Z informacji uzyskanych od organizatora targów wynika, że ponad 14 tys. zwiedzających miało okazję zapoznania się z ofertą firm sektora spożywczego z 45 krajów świata, w tym 42 firm z Polski.
Stoiska polskich producentów zlokalizowane były na gustownie przygotowanych „wyspach”, zarządzanych przez Agencję Rynku Rolnego i Polską Agencję Informacji i Inwestycji Zagranicznych. Wsród polskich wystawców znaleźli się m.in.: Herbapol-Lublin, ZM Henryk Kania, ZM Viando, ZM Łmeat-Łuków, Suempol, Słowianka, Lactima, Łużyckie Praliny, Makarony Polskie, Octim. Szczególną uwagę odwiedzających przyciągały bardzo efektowne i wyborne sękacze pochodzące z Cukierni Zaniewicz z Międzyrzeca Podlaskiego.
