Kolejna edycja Targów Mleczarskich rozpoczęła się 15 listopada w Pałacu Kultury i Nauki w Warszawie. W uroczystym otwarciu uczestniczył m.in. Minister Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi Krzysztof Jurgiel oraz Dyrektor Generalny Krajowego Ośrodka Wsparcia Rolnictwa Witold Strobel.
Podczas wydarzenia producentom branży mleczarskiej wręczono odznaczenia Krajowego Ośrodka Wsparcia Rolnictwa, Agencji Restrukturyzacji i Modernizacji Rolnictwa oraz Związku Pracodawców Eksportów i Importerów Produktów Mleczarskich. Po otwarciu targów minister Krzysztof Jurgiel odwiedził stoiska przedsiębiorstw mleczarskich. Następnie odbyła się krótka konferencja prasowa, na której dziennikarze pytali o ceny masła oraz o eksport polskich produktów za granicę. Minister Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi poinformował, że jest przygotowywana platforma żywnościowa do przeprowadzania przetargów na całym świecie. Po spotkaniu z dziennikarzami odbył się pokaz potraw z mleka i jego przetworów. Targi potrwają do 17 listopada.
