Zakłady w Kaliszu i Koźminie Wielkopolskim włączone do MLEKOVITY

Od 1 lipca 2018 roku globalna siła rynkowa Grupy MLEKOVITA wzrosła do 19 zakładów produkcyjnych poprzez poszerzenie jej o dwa kolejne: Okręgową Spółdzielnię Mleczarską w Kaliszu z jej oddziałem w Koźminie.
Okręgowa Spółdzielnia Mleczarska w Kaliszu swoje istnienie datuje od II połowy XIX wieku, tj. od początków ruchu spółdzielczego w Polsce. Spółdzielnia przetrwała kolejne transformacje gospodarcze i ustrojowe, w 1978 roku oddała do eksploatacji teren o powierzchni 5,5 ha, na których zlokalizowany jest zakład produkcyjny, budynki magazynowe, warsztaty samochodowe, budynek administracyjny, by od 1981 r. funkcjonować jako samodzielny, zarejestrowany podmiot gospodarczy. Koźmińską Spółdzielnię Mleczarską OSM w Kaliszu przejęła w kwietniu 2002 r., zwiększając bazę surowcową i przetwórczą. Od 1 lipca 2018 r. oba zakłady dołączyły do Grupy MLEKOVITA – największej firmy mleczarskiej w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej – zyskując tym samym nowe możliwości dalszego rozwoju.
