Zakupy w wykonaniu mężczyzn w moim sklepie to rewelacyjny materiał na komedię. Zaczyna się często od zdania: „...Coś mi żona kazała kupić”. I już wiem, że będzie ciekawie. Kiedyś wspólnymi siłami ustaliliśmy czego żona tak naprawdę potrzebowała. „Takie długie” – podpowiada klient. Pomyślałam, że może chodzi o seler naciowy. „Nie... To na pewno nie. Takie długie, zielone...” – kontynuuje klient. Nagle zawołałem: „Por!”. I tak, okazało się, że tym czymś długim był właśnie on. Innym razem przyszedł ojciec, który zostawiając dzieci przed wejściem poprosił o coś do picia, właśnie dla nich. Zaproponowałem soczki, napoje, wodę... A on: „Niech będzie tonik. Bo nie lubią”. Walczyłem ze sobą, żeby nie wybuchnąć śmiechem. Zawsze też rozśmieszają mnie panie, które kupują np. worek ziemniaków, a kiedy proponuję im, że pomogę zanieść do samochodu, wskazują na męża stojącego przed sklepem i odpowiadają „Nie, dziękuję. Mam od tego człowieka”.
