Ministrowie finansów Polski i Niemiec podpisali wspólną deklarację o współpracy podatkowej.

  • 2 listopada 2018 r. w Warszawie odbyły się XV polsko-niemieckie konsultacje międzyrządowe.
  • Minister finansów prof. Teresa Czerwińska spotkała się z ministrem finansów Niemiec, Olafem Scholzem.
Najważniejszym, praktycznym wymiarem rozmów polsko-niemieckich było podpisanie wspólnej deklaracji w sprawie zwalczania szkodliwych praktyk podatkowych. Dzięki deklaracji Polska i Niemcy zacieśnią współpracę w tym zakresie.

Ministrowie finansów rozmawiali również na temat opodatkowania gospodarki cyfrowej w kontekście jej szybkiego rozwoju oraz konieczności reagowania na zmiany zachodzące w tym obszarze.

Poruszone zostały także kwestie reformy Unii Gospodarczo-Walutowej,w tym wzmocnienia Europejskiego Mechanizmu Stabilności, aktualnego stanu negocjacji dot. Brexit, wieloletniego budżetu UE (tzw. Wieloletnie Ramy Finansowe) na lata 2021-2027, a także działań dotyczących obniżenia ryzyka w sektorze bankowym w UE. Ministrowie wzięli udział w sesji plenarnej, która odbyła się w Kancelarii Prezesa Rady Ministrów.

Polsko-niemieckie konsultacje międzyrządowe odbywają się naprzemiennie w Polsce i Niemczech od 1997 roku i stanowią główny mechanizm polsko-niemieckich kontaktów na szczeblu rządowym.
