W związku z pojawieniem się pandemii koronawirusa i trudnymi do przewidzenia jego skutkami dla polskiej i światowej gospodarki, Zarząd Grupy Eurocash zamierza rekomendować Zwyczajnemu Walnemu Zgromadzeniu Spółki rezygnację z wypłaty dywidendy za 2019 r. i przeznaczenie całości zysku na kapitał zapasowy.
- Sytuacja finansowa Grupy Eurocash jest komfortowa. Miesiąc temu, w trudnych czasach pandemii wynegocjowaliśmy z konsorcjum banków umowę na 3-letni kredyt rewolwingowy na kwotę 600 mln złotych. Pozyskaliśmy również 50 mln euro finansowania z EBOR. Kontynuujemy inwestycje w nowe technologie, rozbudowujemy platformę eurocash.pl oraz programy lojalnościowe. Pod koniec czerwca dokupiliśmy 56% akcji Frisco. Decyzja o przeznaczeniu na kapitał zapasowy 100% ogólnej sumy zysku jednostkowego za rok 2019 wynika jedynie z niestabilnej sytuacji makroekonomicznej. Powiększając kapitał własny zwiększamy bezpieczeństwo finansowe Spółki – powiedział Jacek Owczarek, członek Zarządu Grupy Eurocash.

Zmiana polityki dywidendowej Grupy Eurocash ma charakter jednorazowy i ma zastosowanie wyłącznie do wypłaty dywidendy z zysku netto za 2019 r.

Walne Zgromadzenie Akcjonariuszy Grupy Eurocash zaplanowane jest na 25 sierpnia 2020 r.
