Pod młotek mają pójść Oil of Olaz, Wella i Pantene. Jak twierdzi agencja Bloomberg, P&G prowadzi już rozmowy z potencjalnymi kupcami.
Negocjacje trwają między innymi z przedstawicielami niemieckiego koncernu Henkel, holenderskiego Unilever, amerykańskich Revlon oraz Coty, a także japońskiego potentata chemiczno-kosmetycznego Kao. Agencja Reuters pisze, że zakupem zainteresowani są również L'Oreal, Colgate i Kimberly Clark.
P&G zamierza sprzedać wszystkie swoje marki perfumeryjno-kosmetyczne. Wartość marek wyceniona została na 18 mld dol., ale nie wykluczona jest sprzedaż pojedyncza. Wynikiem tych operacji jest program oszczędnościowy wart 10 mld dol. Celem jest sprzedaż w sumie 90 marek, co do 35 decyzje już zapadły.
W zeszłym roku koncern sprzedał markę Duracell funduszowi Berkshire Hathaway. Z kolei marki Zest i Camay kupił Unilever.
