Założeniem konkursu, którego organizatorem jest Państwowa Inspekcja Pracy jest promowanie najlepszych praktyk w zakresie poprawy warunków bezpieczeństwa pracy oraz inspirowanie pracodawców do podejmowania działań w celu eliminacji istniejących w ich zakładach zagrożeń.
Argumentując przyznanie pierwszego miejsca Tobacco Trading International Poland zwrócono uwagę na fakt, że firma przystąpiła do wdrażania systemu zarządzania bezpieczeństwem i higieną pracy. Podkreślono też, że jako pracodawca TTI Poland przeprowadza ocenę ryzyka zawodowego i stosuje odpowiednie środki profilaktyczne zmniejszające to ryzyko oraz zapewnia niezbędne szkolenia.

Jednym z głównych priorytetów firmy jest likwidowanie źródeł zagrożeń, a także unikanie ryzyka w miejscu pracy oraz dostosowywanie warunków pracy do psychofizycznych właściwości pracowników. Równie ważna jest też próba angażowania wszystkich pracowników w działania związane z polityką bhp.
