W środę 9.11 nastąpiło otwarcie dwóch kolejnych supermarketów SPAR, dzięki czemu liczba sklepów sieci w Polsce zwiększyła się do 224. Pierwszy z nich otwarty został w Krakowie przy ulicy Elsnera 3. Jest to szesnasty z kolei sklep sieci w Krakowie, który może poszczycić się największą ze wszystkich polskich miast liczbą sklepów funkcjonujących pod szyldem SPAR. Właściciel sklepu zorganizował dla Klientów konkurs, w którym do wygrania był weekend w SPA dla dwojga.
Drugi nowo otwarty supermarket mieści się w Malborku przy ulicy Nogatowej 1/Grota-Roweckiego 1. Tym samym SPAR rozszerzył swoją obecność na kolejne województwo – pomorskie. Sklep w Malborku  posiada 600 m2 powierzchni i 3 stanowiska kasowe. Godziny otwarcia supermarketu: pon.-sob. 6.00-21.00, niedz. 8.00-21.00. Otwarcie spotkało się z niesamowicie dużym zainteresowaniem klientów, którzy licznie przybyli na inaugurację nowego supermarketu – mówi Anna Matys, specjalista ds. otwarć w SPAR. Zainteresowanie było tym większe, że jest to pierwszy sklep z logo SPAR, nie tylko w mieście, ale także w województwie. Dla wszystkich klientów z okazji otwarcia sklepu zorganizowany został także konkurs paragonowy, w którym do wygrania jest wiele atrakcyjnych nagród, w tym nagroda główna – telewizor.
