Grupa Espersen światowy lider w dziedzinie przetwórstwa rybnego, przejmie zakład Royal Greenland w Koszalinie.
Wartości transakcji nie ujawniono. Zatrudniający ok. 1 tys. osób zakład Royal Greenland przejdzie od września na własność Espersen, który posiada swój zakład w Koszalinie.

Z oświadczenia spółek wynika, że porozumienie, oprócz przejęcia zakładu, dotyczy także zawarcie długoterminowego kontraktu na przerób ryb.

Dla Royal Greenland, partnerstwo to pozwala na dalszą koncentrację w połowach, przetwórstwie, sprzedaży i marketingu gatunków północnoatlantyckich. Dla Espersen, partnerstwo umożliwi strategiczny rozwój umożliwiając produkcję pełnego asortymentu owoców morza dla międzynarodowych klientów.
