Jak wynika z danych CMR, w maju 2017 r. całkowita wartość sprzedaży w sklepach małoformatowych do 300 m2 była o 7% wyższa niż w kwietniu 2017 r. i o 2% wyższa niż w maju 2016 r. W maju 2017 r. klienci wydawali na zakupy w sklepach małoformatowych do 300 m2 średnio 12,74 zł, czyli o 5,6% więcej niż rok wcześniej. W porównaniu z kwietniem br., kiedy wydatki były nieco wyższe niż zwykle ze względu na Wielkanoc, średnia wartość koszyka spadła o 6,7%.
Sklepy małoformatowe do 300 m2 obejmują: małe sklepy spożywcze do 40 m2, średnie sklepy spożywcze 41-100 m2, duże sklepy spożywcze 101-300 m2, specjalistyczne sklepy alkoholowe.
