Zwyczajne Walne Zgromadzenie Grupy Żywiec zdecydowało o wypłacie dywidendy w wysokości 20 zł na jedną akcję, z zysku za 2008 rok.
Łączna wartość dywidendy za rok 2008 wynosi 205.426.740 zł. W ujęciu jednostkowym, w 2008 roku spółka miała 381,05 mln zł zysku netto.

Uprawnionych do dywidendy jest 10.271.337 akcji zwykłych na okaziciela. Dzień nabycia prawa do dywidendy przypada na 9 czerwca 2009 r., dzień wypłaty dywidendy na 25 czerwca 2009 rok.

Grupa Żywiec miała po audycie 415,75 mln zł skonsolidowanego zysku netto przypisanego akcjonariuszom jednostki dominującej w 2008 roku wobec 418,64 mln zł zysku rok wcześniej. W ujęciu jednostkowym, w 2008 roku spółka miała 381,05 mln zł zysku netto wobec 396,52 mln zł zysku rok wcześniej.
