W lutym tego roku liczba punktów sprzedaży detalicznej  Ruchu spadła rdr do 30.400 z 31.000. Sieć Kolportera wzrosła w tym czasie do 27.417 pkt z 26.000 pkt. HDS zmniejszył sieć do 97 pkt z 2.759 pkt.

Udział Ruchu w dystrybucji prasy wzrósł w lutym 2009 roku rdr o 0,17 pkt. proc. do 41,44 proc., ale Kolporter zyskał w tym czasie 3,2 pkt. proc. do 40,85 proc.

Trzecie miejsce zajmuje HDS Polska, ale udział tej firmy spadł o 5,4 pkt. proc. do 0,6 proc. Jesienią 2008 roku HDS zdecydował o ograniczeniu dostarczania prasy wyłącznie do sieci dystrybucyjnej na terenie Warszawy.
