Polski Koncern Mięsny DUDA S.A. otrzymał od firmy SAI Global Assurance Services Ltd Certyfikat potwierdzający zgodność z wymogami Globalnego Standardu Bezpieczeństwa Żywności. Po przeprowadzeniu audytu, SAI Global, będąca uznaną na świecie jednostką certyfikującą w sektorze spożywczym, wyróżniła spółkę PKM DUDA najwyższą oceną w zakresie bezpieczeństwa produkowanej żywności.

"Global Standard for Food Safety, będący jednym ze standardów British Retail Consortium, jest rozpoznawalny w sektorze spożywczym na całym świecie. Uzyskanie certyfikatu potwierdzającego spełnianie restrykcyjnych wymogów tego standardu jest dla nas niezwykle cenne - nie tylko podnosi prestiż marki PKM DUDA wśród polskich i zagranicznych kontrahentów, ale również otwiera drogę do rozmów ze światowymi odbiorcami, którzy certyfikację BRC Global Standard uznają za niezbędny warunek rozpoczęcia współpracy. Dzięki niemu nie jest również konieczne przeprowadzanie audytu przez poszczególnych odbiorców" - mówi Bogna Duda-Jankowiak, Wiceprezes Zarządu PKM DUDA S.A.

Global Standard for Food Safety traktowany jest jako punkt odniesienia dla najlepszych praktyk przemysłu spożywczego. Pierwotnie został wdrożony jako odpowiedź na zapotrzebowanie członków Brytyjskiego Stowarzyszenia Detalistów (British Retail Consortium), by z czasem stać się jednym z najbardziej prestiżowych certyfikatów nie tylko w Wielkiej Brytanii, ale również w Stanach Zjednoczonych i w Europie.
