W czwartek 11 czerwca nieczynne będą super- i hipermarkety. Otwarte będą jedynie te sklepy, za których ladą staną osobiście ich właściciele. Boże Ciało to jedno z 13 świąt, w które ustawowo etatowi pracownicy handlu mają wolne.
Oprócz super- i hipermarketów, zamknięte będą sklepy w centrach handlowych oraz sieciowe delikatesy. Otwarte będą mogły być tylko te sklepy, w których za ladą stanie właściciel lub osoba pracująca na podstawie umowy o dzieło lub zlecenie. Jeśli właściciel sklepu złamie prawo, grozi mu kara grzywny do 2 tys. złotych.

Kolejnym dniem świątecznym, w którym zamknięte będą sklepy, to przypadające na 15 sierpnia Wniebowzięcie Najświętszej Marii Panny.
