Przedświąteczne zakupy często dostarczają nam wiele zabawnych sytuacji. Ich bohaterami są zazwyczaj panowie, biegający jak szaleni z listami zakupowymi od żon. Mimo iż ci właśnie panowie są naszymi kupującymi na co dzień, znają nasz sklep i wiedzą gdzie czego szukać, to przed świętami są zupełnie innymi klientami. I na przykład: na kartce od żony jest napisane „KUPIĆ FILET Z KURCZAKA”, a pani ekspedienta podaje mówiąc: „Proszę – PIERŚ Z KURCZAKA”. W takiej sytuacji zdezorientowany klient natychmiast dzwoni do żony i z przerażeniem w głosie pyta, czy ma kupić filet z kurczaka czy pierś też może być? Ci sami panowie, zagubieni w spożywczych zakupach, bardzo dobrze odnajdują się w alejkach z alkoholem. Tutaj dokładnie wiedzą co kupić i w jakiej ilości.
