Budynek, w którym znajduje się mój sklep, należy do Spółdzielni Ogrodniczej, w której przez długi czas byłam pracownikiem biurowym. Reorganizacja firmy spowodowała, że miałam trzy wyjścia – albo pójść na zasiłek, szukać sobie innego zajęcia, albo wynająć lokal, w którym obecnie znajduje się mój sklep. Oczywiście zdecydowałam się zaryzykować i postawić na trzecią opcję. Moja mama pracowała kiedyś w sklepie, siostra też, więc licząc na wsparcie rodziny, ale mając zupełnie inne doświadczenie i wykształcenie, zadebiutowałam jako właścicielka placówki handlowej. Początkowo obawiałam się, czy odnajdę się w nowej roli, ale mając obecnie na koncie ponad 20 lat pracy w handlu mogę z pełnym przekonaniem przyznać, że było warto. Oczywiście bardzo pomogło mi moje usposobienie – komunikatywności i uprzejmość, które w tym zawodzie są niezbędne. Przez lata wyrobiłam sobie kontakty z hurtowniami i przedstawicielami handlowymi, ale tylko ja wiem ile pracy mnie to kosztowało. Dlatego z dumą mogę powiedzieć, że wszystko mi się udało, czego dowodem jest to, że od dwóch dekad pracuję w branży.
