Pożar zakładu Iglotex w Skórczu

Pożar wybuchł w nocy ok. godz. 1:40 w hali produkcyjnej należącej do firmy Iglotex, producenta mrożonek. Z terenu ewakuowano kilkanaście osób, nikt nie został poszkodowany. Jak czytamy na stronie Pomorskiego Urzędu Wojewódzkiego, w wyniku pożaru uległ zniszczeniu trzytonowy zbiornik amoniaku, ale pomimo rozszczelnienia zbiornika nie doszło do skażenia środowiska. W akcji gaśniczej uczestniczyło 65 zastępów straży pożarnej, w tym jednostka chemiczna z Gdańska.
- Pożar jest opanowany, niestety zniszczeniu uległo 2/3 zakładu, aktualnie prowadzimy działania na pozostałym terenie zakładu. Zagrożenia, w tym chemicznego dla okolicznych mieszkańców nie ma – mówił podczas konferencji prasowej gen. bryg. Leszek Suski, komendant główny PSP. - Poszkodowanych zostało dwóch druhów ale ich życiu nie zagraża niebezpieczeństwo.

Jak zaznaczył szef PSP - siły i środki, którymi dysponują strażacy są wystarczające. Działania gaśnicze potrwają do wieczora, a zakład po ugaszeniu będzie całkowicie bezpieczny dopiero w godzinach porannych.
Na razie nie jest znana przyczyna pożaru.
