Mężczyźni na zakupy zwykle odwiedzają sklep z listą sporządzoną przez żonę lub z telefonem, w którym mają zapisane potrzebne produkty. Ewentualnie, gdy przychodzą po 1-2 produkty to rezygnują ze wspomnianego wsparcia, ale wtedy potrafią dzwonić do żon czy partnerek i pytać czy na pewno wybrali dobrze. Z wizytami panów w sklepie wiąże się zatem wiele anegdot. Często bowiem wspomnianą kartkę odczytują stojąc już przy kasie. Dlatego pewnego razu pan, który po kolei prosił o produkty z listy przeczytał na głos: „poproszę 4 sztuki dżemu do przetworów”. Domyślając się, że chodzi o dżemix, zasugerowałam, że być może to właśnie on jest potrzebny. Wtedy pan zorientował się co powiedział i oboje zaczęliśmy się śmiać. Innym razem pewien klient zapytał się czy są u mnie dostępne „żywe kurczaki”. Z uśmiechem odpowiedziałam, że niestety nie i chyba sklep spożywczy nie jest miejscem, gdzie można je nabyć. Mam też stałego klienta, który ma ponad 90 lat i za każdym razem, gdy przychodzi prosi o dodanie do rachunku „biletu do nieba”. Zawsze odpowiadam mu, na tę chwilę nie mamy ich w sprzedaży.
