Święta Bożego Narodzenia to czas, kiedy uświadamiamy sobie jak ważni są nasi klienci. Nie chodzi bynajmniej o aspekt ekonomiczny, to że zostawia w naszym sklepie pieniądze. Każdy kto dzień w dzień przekracza próg naszego sklepu, i nieważne czy są to duże zakupy czy pojedyncze produkty, staje się ważną częścią naszego życia. Klienci się z nami integrują, są istotną częścią naszej społeczności, pomagają nam poprzez działanie. W święta mamy niezwykle dużo pracy i niektórzy klienci pomagają nam ją wykonywać w zamian za małą gratyfikacje. My oddajemy produkty, na przykład te o bliskim terminie ważności, a w zamian za to ktoś np. umyje okna czy zamiecie przed wejściem do sklepu. To współpraca, na której korzystają obie strony. Nasi klienci nie są osobami z zewnątrz, są to osoby, które są częścią naszego sklepu i zwyczajnie chcą pomóc. Ktoś, kto zostawia u nas pieniądze to nie jest bezimienny paragon a człowiek, który ma swoją historię, imię i twarz. Jest to ważne także dla sprzedawczyń, które mają poczucie, że ich życzliwość do nich wraca. Z okazji Bożego Narodzenia życzę wszystkim detalistom, aby w nadchodzącym roku ten uśmiech wracał do nich jak najczęściej.
