Mlekpol zmniejszy dzięki temu produkcję tradycyjnego plastiku o 564 tony rocznie w porównaniu do tego typu TBA 1000 E standard przy wolumenie 100 mln paczek. Materiały, z których kartoniki zostały wytworzone w 89% pochodzą ze źródeł odnawialnych – karton z drzew, a części plastikowe (folia i zakrętka) powstały na bazie etanolu z trzciny cukrowej. Surowce pochodzą z odnawialnych certyfikowanych plantacji. Opakowanie mleka Łaciatego w całości może zostać poddane recyklingowi.
