Przychody Grupy Eurocash w pierwszym półroczu 2020 r. wyniosły 12,1 mld zł i były o 2% wyższe niż w analogicznym okresie 2019 r. EBITDA (tj. zysk operacyjny powiększony o amortyzację) w okresie pierwszych sześciu miesięcy tego roku wyniosła 337 mln zł wobec 338 mln zł rok wcześniej.
Grupa Eurocash szacuje, że dodatkowe koszty związane z pandemią COVID-19 obciążyły jej wyniki o około 17 mln zł. Wynik netto Grupy Eurocash za pierwsze półrocze 2020 r. był ujemny i wyniósł -20 mln zł wobec 7 mln zł zysku netto w analogicznym okresie 2019 r. Znaczący wpływ na wynik netto miały różnice kursowe wynikające z przeszacowania kontraktów leasingowych zgodnie ze standardem MSSF16. Przepływy pieniężne z działalności operacyjnej w pierwszej połowie tego roku sięgnęły 221 mln zł, a łączne przepływy pieniężne wyniosły 56 mln zł. Silne przepływy pieniężne pozwalają Grupie kontynuować rozwój zarówno organicznie, jak i poprzez akwizycje. W czerwcu Eurocash sfinalizował przejęcie większościowego pakietu akcji Frisco.
