Prezes UOKiK wszczął postępowania wyjaśniające, w których sprawdza, czy sieci handlowe poprzez stosowane rabaty retrospektywne nie wykorzystują przewagi kontraktowej wobec małych i średnich przedsiębiorców, dostarczających produkty do ich sklepów – podaje urząd. Rabaty retrospektywne (retro) są przyznawane za dokonane zakupy. Występują między innymi w relacjach pomiędzy sieciami handlowymi a dostawcami produktów. Stosowane są różne systemy przyznawania retrorabatów. W niektórych sytuacjach dostawca przystępujący do wykonania umowy nie jest w stanie określić, w jakiej wysokości będzie musiał go przyznać sieci handlowej i na podstawie jakich kryteriów. Tego typu działania mogą być uznane przez Prezesa UOKiK jako niedozwolone.
