Skutki pandemii najboleśniej odczuła między innymi branża gastronomiczna. W grupie lokali sieci Sphinx i Chłopskie Jadło, które wznowiły sprzedaż po okresie lockdownu, sprzedaż gastronomiczna we wrześniu była niższa o 18% w stosunku do tego okresu roku ubiegłego, podczas gdy w pierwszym tygodniu po odmrożeniu branży spadek przychodów wynosił 67%. Średnio, w okresie od otwarcia gastronomii do końca września br., Sfinks odnotował zmniejszenie sprzedaży o 30% r/r.
