Koronawirus spowolnił rozwój wielu produktów i procesów, dla innych będąc łaskawym i przyczyniając się do ich wzrostu. Jednym z niekwestionowanych beneficjentów pandemii okazały się płatności bezgotówkowe, które jeszcze przed COVID-19 zyskiwały coraz więcej zwolenników. W ich rozwoju niebagatelną rolę odgrywają usługi chmurowe.
„Dotychczasowy rozwój rynku płatności bezgotówkowych pokazuje wysoki poziom zaufania i otwartości Polaków na takie rozwiązania. W budowaniu trendu pomagają dobre praktyki z zagranicy. Pierwszym krajem bez gotówki, od 2016 roku stara się być Dania, a jej rząd aktywnie zachęca sklepy, by rezygnowały z transakcji gotówką. Szwedzi również stawiają na obrót bezgotówkowy, dzięki czemu tylko 1% transakcji stanowią u nich te tradycyjne” – mówi Mariusz Juranek, Dyrektor Handlowy w Polcom.
