Jeden z największych producentów wyrobów tytoniowych na świecie, Imperial Brands z siedzibą w Bristolu (Wielka Brytania), planuje kolejne inwestycje w Polsce, w ramach nowej strategii Grupy ogłoszonej w 2021 roku. Obecnie w kraju znajdują się już dwie fabryki producenta – w Tarnowie Podgórnym koło Poznania oraz w Radomiu. W marcu 2022 roku firma otworzy również nowoczesne, globalne centrum usług w Warszawie.
Biuro w stolicy będzie odpowiedzialne przede wszystkim za obsługę funkcji Globalnego Łańcucha Dostaw firmy (w języku angielskim Global Supply Chain).

Zgodnie ze strategią i programem zmian w Imperial Brands, nowy globalny hub w Warszawie będzie wspierał zintegrowany łańcuch dostaw w ramach modelu tzw. „E2E” (end to end). Oznacza to połączenie wszystkich ról w jednym miejscu, co zapewni poprawę, dostosowanie i dynamikę procesów w łańcuchu dostaw.

Jest to kolejny krok w naszym programie transformacji i stanowi część strategii firmy, która koncentruje się na konsumentach – mówi Javier Huerta, Dyrektor Globalnego Łańcucha Dostaw w Imperial Brands.

Centrum zlokalizowane będzie w jednym z najnowocześniejszych budynków w stolicy – Warsaw Hub przy Rondzie Daszyńskiego.
