Wszystkie ogniwa guzikowe otrzymały nowy blister składający się w 90% z kartonu pochodzącego z recyklingu. Nowe komory na ogniwa wykonano w 80% z przetworzonego PET, a ich konstrukcja zapobiega zwarciu ogniwa, gdy opakowanie jest rozcinane. Dzięki tej zmianie ilość plastiku zmalała o 40% (w porównaniu z poprzednim opakowaniem 2 szt.). Ponadto wszystkie opakowania litowych baterii pastylkowych zabezpieczono przed dziećmi zgodnie z normą IEC.
