Summer Fancy Food Show, to największe wydarzenie tego typu na wschodnim wybrzeżu Stanów Zjednoczonych, które przyciągnęło 2 400 wystawców z 80 krajów i regionów świata. W ciągu 3 dni targowych wystawcy zaprezentowali ponad 180 000 produktów spożywczych. Według organizatorów, do stolicy multikulturowości przyjechało ponad 40 tys. odwiedzających.
Polscy producenci (20 firm) prezentowali swoje produkty przede wszystkim na wspólnej – biało-czerwonej – widocznej już z daleka wyspie, pod skrzydłami Polskiej Agencji Informacji i Inwestycji Zagranicznych (PAIiIZ). Można było tam odwiedzić m.in. stoiska firm: Lactima, AS-Babuni, Argo, Pszczółka, Kupiec, Piasecki, czy Orzech.
Na targach polskie produkty prezentowali również dystrybutorzy działający na rynku amerykańskim, a najbardziej widoczną marką był Krakus.
Cała polska ekipa, pomimo trudności związanych z przelotem (lot Dreamlinerem może płatać figle...), świetnie prezentowała swoje produkty. Uwagę zwiedzających przykuwał również niebagatelnych rozmiarów sękacz ze znanej Cukierni Zaniewicz z Międzyrzeca Podlaskiego.
Specjalny, oddzielny sektor zajmowały amerykańskie firmy, które podzielone były na stany, z których pochodzą. I tak można było skosztować produktów z Pensylwanii, Północnej Karoliny czy Massachusetts. Dodatkowo, dla miłośników kulinarnej kultury Nowego Jorku, miasto utworzyło oddzielny sektor pod szyldem „TASTE NY”.
Kolejne edycja Summer Fancy Food Show odbędzie się w dniach 28-30 czerwca 2015 roku.
