Rok 2021 był dla branży trudny, trzeci z kolei ze spadkami sprzedaży wolumenowej. Walczymy nadal ze skutkami pandemii, mierzymy się też z ogromnym, często dwucyfrowym wzrostem cen opakowań, surowców, energii elektrycznej i cieplnej oraz kosztów pracy. To przełożyło się już na wzrost średniej ceny piwa o kilkanaście procent w ostatnich 3 latach.
Po podwyżce akcyzy w 2020 roku o 10%, rząd proceduje już kolejną podwyżkę stawki akcyzy ponownie o 10% plus kroczącą o 5% od 2023 do 2027 roku. Te działania nie wspierają branży. Rok 2021 w Carlsberg Polska to czas dbania o zdrowie i bezpieczeństwo pracowników w związku z Covid-19, wprowadzenia licznych nowości piwnych, poszerzania oferty piw 0,0%. Nasze marki zdobyły uznanie konsumentów i liczne nagrody m.in. dla okocimskich radlerów na konkursie Chmielaki Krasnostawskie lub dla Somersby – Produkt Innowacyjny 2021. W tym roku realizowaliśmy również inwestycje, m.in. w nową myjkę do butelek zwrotnych w Browarze Kasztelan o wartości 12 mln złotych i stację dealkoholizującą w Browarze Okocim o wartości 10 mln zł. Rok 2022 jest pełen niewidomych ze względu na pandemię, zmiany stawek akcyzy na piwa i na piwa smakowe oraz tego jak zachowa się rynek i konsumenci. Czekamy też na nowe przepisy dotyczące rozszerzonej odpowiedzialności producentów i systemu kaucyjnego.
